Snack Bar update - Halloween Edition 10/28/2023

Hi Soccer fans, ghouls, goblins, and other spirited individuals:

Trick or Treat - The Halloween edition of the Café 58, always one of my fav’s.  This update will be short and sweet, just like most of our kids will be on Tuesday night!!!

Included in this update are 3 tips for Saturday:
Tip #1 Use your pre-Halloween ($1 off) coupon for a breakfast entrée or an Iced Tea
Tip #2 Breakfast on Saturday starting at 7:00 am, as always, special ORANGE PANCAKES for Halloween
Tip #3 Volunteer Appreciation day – free Ice Cream sundaes for the teams in divisions U7 through U12 with the most volunteer points as of last Saturday

First of all, come to Café 58 and say "trick or treat".  Depending upon who you say it to, you will get either a trick or a treat (treats tend to be candy, tricks can be all sorts of "age appropriate" things.)

Tip #1 - Special Saturday at Café 58 – don’t be Silent when it comes to supporting our Region Scholarship fund by coming to the Snack Bar and encouraging all of your teammates to come as well.  Use the coupon (to save $1 on a breakfast entrée) handed out last Saturday, or attached to this email, or on our Snack Bar website at: https://www.ayso58.org/Default.aspx?tabid=937931 

Tip #2 - Breakfast on Saturday starting at 7:00 am, as always, and served all day as long as we have eggs, English muffins and pancakes left.  Yes, you read it right – Orange Pancakes for Halloween.  We thought about orange egg’s but that was going tooooo far!!!

Tip #3 - Volunteer Appreciation day – free Ice Cream sundaes for the team in each division (U7 through U12) with the most volunteer points as of last Saturday (see where your team stands on our Volunteer Point tracker at: Volunteer Points (ayso58.org).  
To acknowledge and reward the parents and teams in each division who have volunteered the most so far this season, we are reviving the tradition of giving those teams FREE ice cream sundaes.  As you are walking near the Info Tent (on the way to or from the snack bar!!!), this Saturday you will see a big tent with awesome balloons, tables, chairs and lots of smiling kids.  The teams being honored this Saturday have already been notified and scheduled, so as you are walking by, congratulate them and challenge your team to bump up your volunteer points for the rest of the season.  We still need lots of volunteers for tomorrow for the 1:30 through 3:30 shifts, so sign up now at: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/5080B4EACAF2DA2F85-44190480-102812#/.  This Ice Cream party (and the balloons) are being sponsored by Balloons Fete, owned by our own Region’s Stephanie Arrellano (https://www.balloonsfete.com/).
