AYSO is an all volunteer organization and it takes hours of volunteer time to ensure that every game day runs smoothly. We ask that every family volunteer for at least 4 hours (two 2-hour shifts) over the course of the season. To track this we use a volunteer point system where every 2-hour shift is worth one point. Every team must earn a minimum of 12 volunteer points for the regular season. These are not the same as referee points which are required for to qualify for the playoffs.
